Supervising Social Worker- Island authority - Accommodation allowance -£42 p/hr

NonStop Care is currently working with a Good Ofsted island authority in the South of the UK who are looking for an Experienced Social Worker to join their Fostering team as a Supervising Social Worker.

The island authority provides a sizeable accommodation allowance, allowing for a smoother and less stressful transition into the role which will save you time and money.

In this role you will be joining an local authority with a Good Ofsted rating, meaning that you will be joining an successful team with good practices, enhancing your skills which will help lead to further career opportunities.

Responsibilities:

* Your primary responsibility will be to provide a quality and professional service by monitoring and supervising the allocated foster carers and providing support and guidance. This is done to achieve the best outcomes for all the children and young people in foster care.
* Attend and participate in case conferences, reviews, planning meetings, prepare reports and risk assessments, advise children and young people of their rights and assist them.

Requirements:

This role requires a Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration, a driving licence and access to your own vehicle and experience ideally with 2 years post qualification experience within LAC/Fostering experience.
