My client, a renowned, multi award winning firm with a leading IP team, is seeking a talented and ambitious IP Associate to join the distinguished Intellectual Property team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing practice, specialising in complex patent and SPC disputes across multiple jurisdictions involving major science and technology companies.

As an IP Associate, you will play a key role in handling high-stakes patent and SPC disputes, covering a diverse range of disciplines such as life sciences (biotechnology and pharmaceuticals).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and assisting with complex patent and SPC disputes
  • Collaborating with a team of legal professionals on multi-jurisdictional Patent litigation
  • Providing strategic advice to major science and technology clients
  • Engaging in regulatory work within the intellectual property domain

Requirements:

  • Experience in intellectual property, with a focus on patent litigation
  • 4-6 years’ PQE – Willing to consider more junior candidates
  • Exposure to the life sciences and/or technology sectors
  • Strong academic background, including a STEM degree is highly desirable
  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for technology and its legal implications
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients at all levels
