We are seeking an experienced passionate and dedicated Invoicing Team Leader to join our award-winning client based near Haydock. 

To apply for the role you will need to have experience in leading an invoicing team, be driven by targets deadlines and processes, have experience in using Sage

The role 

Lead a team of invoicing administrators ensuring that KPIs are met, data is input correctly and supporting the invoice team work in partnership with stakeholders to produce timely and accurate invoicing. 

Leadership 

  • Data input accuracy
  • Lead the invoice team and work in partnership with appropriate stakeholders to produce timely and accurate invoicing
  • Lead customer invoice queries/disputes and deliver speedy solutions
  • Complete monthly invoice centre KPIs to evidence working towards or achieving best-on-class
  • Provide high-level invoicing MI with internal stakeholders such as sales invoicing figures, accruals and comparisons
  • Completing monthly rebate declarations and schedules

Compliance 

  • Install and embed best-in-class written process
  • Support relevant statutory compliance and other regulations

Team Management 

  • Install appropriate team headcount and structure against an agreed metric.
  • Control of team structure salaries and terms and conditions to recruit and retain the best talent possible to form effective teams.
  • Install written process, ownership, accountability, teamwork, and capability building.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Install real and achievable team KPI outputs
  • Conduct regular performance reviews against the Job Description and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement
  • Recognise and reward and maintain the right balance between colleague happiness and drive.
  • Supporting disciplinary and grievance & constructive management of conflicts
  • Team succession planning (leavers and absence)

Skills required 

  1. Passionate about delivering best-in-class invoicing
  2. A great team leader
  3. Deadline, detail and process-orientated
  4. An effective verbal and written communicator at several levels
  5. Software competent with Sage
  6. Relentlessness to drive strategic invoicing projects to make the Kingdom invoicing centre better every day

Hours are Monday to Friday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm ( possible opportunity for a 8.00 am - 4.00 pm if required)

Salary is £35,000 plus quarterly KPI bonus
