Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a growing business in Halifax who are recruiting a Job Costing/Invoicing Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time and permanent position. The suitable candidate will enjoy a challenge, solving issues, and have a methodical approach. You will assist in all aspects of invoicing and costing all sub-contractors and ensuring labour and products are correctly priced and invoiced.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare job sheets and calculate material costs based on agreed client rates and margins
  • Invoice designated clients within specified timeframes 
  • Verify all sub-contractor invoices against guidelines and the PO system
  • Enter sub-contractor invoices into the job costing system
  • Ensure accuracy in calculations, including VAT and CIS 
  • Communicate directly with sub-contractors regarding job sheet and material prices
  • Follow up on disputed invoices and work toward resolution 
  • Enter job details and invoicing notes into the system
  • Organize invoices and job sheets for posting
  • Maintain service levels during staff absences
  • Resolve customer queries promptly

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience of Invoicing Systems/Job Costing
  • Ability to manage workload
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge
  • Ability to delegate effectively
  • Proven ability to take the lead with all aspects of client/subcontractor queries/escalating issues
