Investment Reporting & Operations Specialist

A multi-asset class investment manager is looking to hire an Operations/Investment reporting Specialist to assist with all aspects of investment operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with investment and operational documentation ranging from PE fund subscriptions to broker/account setup and KYC documentation
• Help build internal reporting system and centralise all investment-related paperwork
• Contribute to month/quarter-end portfolio reporting and Fund NAV production/reconciliation
• Contribute to the production of /exposure and P&L reporting
• Participate in investor calls and discussions with managers and investee companies, review reports
• Monitor cash
• Ensure timely valuation of illiquid securities
• Assist with the production of internal risk reporting
• Some assistance with day to day running of investment manager entity
• Liaise with fund administrator and independent trustees

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree essential
• The ideal candidate will have experience/exposure to front-to-back Operations processes gained within an asset management or buy-side business.
• To be considered for the role the candidate will have the following characteristics/ experience:
  
  • Knowledge of fund/portfolio reporting frameworks (e.g. NAV production, P&L
  • Enthusiastic with proactive attitude
  • Strong communications skills
  • Ability to work in a small team
  • Comfortable working within data and highly numerate
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to use own initiative
  • Strong Excel skills
• Experience: 5-7yrs
