Our client, a national wealth management firm, is seeking an experienced, qualified Investment Manager to join their highly successful team.

This is a role that is part of the wider growth strategy so we are looking for someone who either has clients to bring or is a proven and motivated business developer, as there isn't a client bank to inherit from day one. There is a clear progression structure on offer and extensive support as expected of a leading corporate in their field. The wider group offers a range of services to individual and corporate clients and there is ample opportunity for internal referrrals.

You will provide personalised investment advice and discretionary portfolio management to clients, working in partnership with Financial Planning colleagues to develop relationships.

Skills and Qualifications

  • CISI Level 6 or above qualified Investment Manager (aspiring for Level 7), or CFA Chartered.
  • Experience of managing discretionary investment portfolios and delivering investment advice, including experience of remodelling newly acquired portfolios
  • Knowledge of Financial Planning and client advice, plus knowledge of complex and higher risk advice areas.
  • In-depth understanding of financial markets/risk management techniques/regulatory requirement.
  • Experience of leading pitches and winnning new business

This is a hybrid role with typically 3 days a week in the office.

An excellent bonus scheme is on offer, directly related to revenue generated as well as discretionary general performance.
