Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of an Investment and FP&A Analyst based in Edinburgh paying £60,000 - £65,000 plus excellent bonus potential, pensions and benefits.

The Role

This newly developed position is a perfect hybrid role split between assessing existing projects, whilst also assisting with future M&A targets. The Director is keen to secure the services of an individual that is constantly willing to take on additional responsibilities, duties and exposure to grow their role & remit within the function. The key components of the role will include:

  • Business partnering with senior stakeholder and non-financial departments to produce monthly reporting packs & investment appraisals to aid decision making, direction and strategic objectives
  • Involvement in several high profile domestic & international projects - existing assets & potential new assets
  • Assessment of existing projects - KPI’s, budgeting, forecasting, modelling
  • Assessment of new acquisition projects - Due diligence, investment appraisal, modelling
  • Feeding into group budgeting, forecasting and cashflow analysis process
  • Leading on continuous improvements initiatives
  • Leading on BI Dashboard developments

The role of Investment and FP&A Analyst is based in Edinburgh with hybrid and flexible working options. The position will also offer:

Candidate Profile

This role would be open to qualified Accountants that meet one of the two below profiles:

An individual looking to make their first inhouse move from a corporate finance advisory background i.e. 360 CF, M&A, due diligence, transaction services or financial modelling

Or

An individual with a strong inhouse FP&A background that has exposure to financial modelling for investments or M&A
