Inventory Manager

Clients engage RGP for expertise in delivering large and complex projects to strengthen their business. We are currently looking for an Inventory Manager for a global manufacturing firm to support their operations on an interim basis.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Manage global inventory of finished products and raw materials.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory position and minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
• Monitor inventory and planning performance using key metrics.
• Lead initiatives to enhance customer delivery times, reduce lead times, and optimize inventory across functions.
• Analyze inventory trends and communicate risks and opportunities.

EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

• Strong understanding of inventory optimization.
• Excellent collaboration skills to establish and implement best practices, ideally across multiple manufacturing plants.
• Previous hands-on experience within a large, matrix organisation.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and strong written and verbal communication.
