International Sales Team Leader – Huddersfield – £28,000 - 12 Month FTC

They are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced International Sales Team Leader to oversee the customer communications and required administration associated with their international sales orders.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and focused individual with international sales administration experience to head up a small and friendly team, motivating and leading your colleagues to ensure objectives are met and the international sales orders are carried out successfully.

International Sales Team Leader Responsibilities:
  • Accepting and responding to new and existing customer enquiries through various methods
  • Working closely with customers to understand requirements and effectively manage the order process from, start to finish
  • Preparing accurate invoices, packing lists and other relevant export documentation
  • Tracking movement of orders whilst keeping the customer updated throughout the process
  • Creating an engaging and inspiring work environment, organising the workload effectively, ensuring objectives are clear and delegating tasks as appropriate
  • Managing changes to orders or advising on appropriate substitutions
  • Develop a good understanding of products, pricing, packaging and delivery
  • Resolving customer concerns and following up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Liaising with the finance team to facilitate customer payments  
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience within a similar International Sales Team Leader role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of HS codes, Incoterms and customs processes
  • Ability to successfully manage and motivate a small team
