An experienced International Sales Manager with a proven track record in international sales is needed to join our team at Unicorn Products Ltd, a leading retailer of sports equipment based in Kent, on a full-time hybrid working basis.  

As the International Sales Manager, you will drive revenue growth and brand awareness through strategic sales initiatives and relationship-building with distributors, retailers, and partners in international markets. 

You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing accounts, and fostering long-term partnerships to achieve sales targets and maximise market share. Occasional domestic and international travel might be required. 

This role offers excellent earning potential with an OTE of £45,000+ and exciting career progression opportunities!

Established over 125 years ago with a focus on innovation and performance, we are seeking a dynamic International Sales Manager to join our global sales efforts and expand our presence in key markets around the world. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans and strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share for sporting goods products in existing regions
  • Identify and prospect potential distributors, retailers, and partners globally through various channels, including industry events, trade shows, and digital platforms
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the sporting goods industry to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes and secure profitable partnerships
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and logistics, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with product availability and customer demand
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to anticipate challenges and capitalise on emerging opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and reports to communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions effectively
  • Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and analyse data to evaluate progress towards goals and identify areas for optimisation
  • Provide accurate forecasts, budget plans, and market insights to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation
  • Represent the company at international sporting goods trade shows, exhibitions, and events to showcase products, build brand awareness, and expand business networks.

Required Skills: 

  • Proven track record of success in international sales, preferably within the sporting goods industry
  • Strong understanding of global sports markets, trends, and customer preferences
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders
  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding sales targets and driving continuous growth
  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for sales tracking and reporting
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
