International Sales Executive, Salary £35-45k + commission, Remote with flexibility in terms of candidate location (UK or overseas) – international travel required.

We have an exciting opportunity for an International Sales Executive to join a forward thinking, progressive and entrepreneurial SME business. The business specialise in industrial ink manufacture and technology. They are looking to further grow their international business via Distributors / Resellers and require an International Sales Executive to help them achieve this. The role will have a blend of new business development and account management with an initial focus on new business development. The role will involve international travel to visit customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience of setting up and managing new distributor / reseller relationships internationally, preferably in a relevant sector e.g. chemical, manufacturing / engineering, print packaging. Bi-lingual / multi-lingual would be highly advantageous.

International Sales Executive – the role:

  • Identify and engage new distributor / reseller partnership opportunities via a consultative sales approach. The role will involve pitching the technical product offering as well as the commercial partnership opportunity.
  • Account management of new distributors once converted. Nurture and develop the relationships to achieve successful growth.
  • Analyse market data to identify trends/opportunities, utilise an extensive network of relationships within the relevant industry to gather market intelligence and research potential distributor channel opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in an International Sales Manager / Sales Executive / International Account Manager, International Business Development Manager or similar role.
  • Preferably have reseller / distributor experience / knowledge.
  • Experience of selling a technical product / solution within manufacturing / engineering would be advantageous but is not essential as any sector background will be considered.
  • Excellent relationship builder with a consultative sales approach.
  • Able to demonstrate a record of sales success / growth.
  • Results driven, highly analytical, customer obsessed, and ready to roll up your sleeves to grow the business.
  • Bi-lingual / multi-lingual would be highly advantageous.
  • Able to travel internationally.
