International Events Coordinator

We are looking to appoint an Events Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of our high-profile physical and virtual events around the world. The role of the Events Coordinator is an important role looking after a portfolio of events and providing support to the wider Events team. This is a role which requires good attention to detail, proactive approach and communication skills.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Attend and oversee awards and conferences globally; manage all event logistics, manage and assist speakers, contribute to the running of the conference agenda and liaise with external suppliers.
  • Plan, deliver and host global events, including forums and awards ceremonies both physically and virtually
  • Strong experience of virtual events
  • Liaising with sponsors to ensure they are delivered their package with a high level of customer service
  • Confident with venue sourcing and booking, AV management, logistics planning
  • Putting together venue research and supplier research when required
  • Coordinate on-site activity, liaising with the venue, A/V supplier, photographer, in-house team as well as running registration desks
  • Maintain accurate databases for event attendees
  • Coordinate the requirements of the in-house team, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and suppliers to ensure the effective delivery of all events to agreed budget and timeframe

Person specification:

  • 1+ year events experience
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • High level of competency with Office suite
  • Experience using virtual event platforms
  • Experience using Event Management Software
  • A positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple events at once
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Candidates must be entitled to live and work in the UK and should have no travel restrictions

Skills and qualifications:

  • Ability to own a event cycle from start to finish
  • Knowledge of Legal markets advantageous
  • Ability to demonstrate event delivery to a high standard
  • Contribute effectively within a team environment
  • Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong personal skills, ability to engage and forge strong meaningful relationships
