An international Manufacturing company is hiring an Internal Infrastructure Support Engineer to join their team in Preston. Daily responsibilities include the upkeep of IT infrastructure and involvement in Technical Projects, offering technical assistance, and managing network operations. This role offers a hybrid working structure and will expose you to a range of the latest technologies in Windows Infrastructure and Cloud services.

What are they looking for?
Experience in VMWare as well as some Veeam and Azure/365
Experience in Network Support and Administration (Aruba Central or Meraki desirable)
Experience Leading and managing Technical Projects
Experience as a hands-on Windows Infrastructure Engineer
A willingness to assist the help desk support engineering with tickets and escalations when needs be
Excellent Communication Skills

Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, printers, and scanners
Provide technical support and troubleshoot IT issues for staff
Keep accurate records of IT assets, track software licenses, and coordinate maintenance with vendors
Lead the companies LAN for connectivity, security, and performance optimization, including VLAN setup and managing Aruba Central and Meraki WiFi, with expertise in Sophos XG Firewall administration (Desirable)
