I am seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Executive to join a growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for food and a ‘can do’ attitude, who thrives on success and is looking for great opportunities to advance within the business.Day to Day of the role for the Business Development Executive:
  • Generate sales through incoming and outgoing calls, leveraging both self-generated leads and an internal database.
  • Work closely with the on-the-road sales team to arrange qualified meetings.
  • Maintain up-to-date files, contact information, and customer pricing, ensuring new information is shared with all appropriate teams.
  • Manage customer forecasts and order processing.
  • Provide general account management and perform other associated administrative tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Business Development Executive:
  • Self-motivated with the ability to use your own initiative.
  • Resilient with the ability to handle knockbacks.
  • Effective communication skills, both via email and phone.
  • Team player with a passion for food and excellent organisational skills.
  • Must be within commutable distance to Rochester, Kent.
  • Previous experience working from an internal leads database is essential.
  • Confident in using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
