Remuneration: £27,000 - £29,000 + 5% Company performance bonus

The role of the Internal Sales Executive - Construction Accessories will involve:

  • Internal sales position selling a manufactured range of construction accessories
  • Promoting engineered technical systems such as: reinforced concrete spacers, construction chemicals, waterproof & gas barriers/ membranes and technical products such as startabox continuity systems, shear rails, threaded rebar couplers and shear dowel connectors
  • Selling into housing contractors, groundworkers, concrete frame contractors and civil engineering contractors
  • This role primarily will be developing new business opportunities through cold calling
  • As accounts are built up the roles focus will shift towards the management of these
  • Deal with incoming customer enquiries via telephone & email
  • Produce quotes for customers and follow up in a timely manner
  • Providing assistance for the external sales team where required
  • A typical order value will be between £500-£1,500 but can range up to £50,000
  • Opportunity to make a name for yourself, focusing on a new area of sales

The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Executive - Construction Accessories with:

  • Must have sales experience within construction or working for a manufacturer
  • Must have pro-active outbound sales experience
  • Ideally will have sold into housing contractors, groundwork contractors, civil contractors or concrete frame contractors
  • Experience selling precast products or construction accessories highly advantageous
  • Tenacious, self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Good communication skills both written and verbally
  • Personable, people person, driven and enthusiastic
