Internal Sales Estimator

Location: Chesterfield, UK

Salary: £29,000 to £33,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Are you an experienced sales professional looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Sales Office Team? Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Chesterfield, is currently seeking an Internal Sales Estimator to play a key role in driving sales and profitability.

If you have a strong background in sales, excellent technical knowledge, and a proactive mindset, this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and advice on product and manufacturing processes to ensure accurate quotations.
  • Deliver outstanding service and support to customers, handling technical queries and building strong relationships.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing customer base and uncover expansion possibilities.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and achieve company goals.
  • Assist with product specifications, designs, and liaise with internal stakeholders for delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Data CRM system and stay up to date with industry trends.
  • Exceed sales targets and maximise revenue by converting quotes and driving conversion percentages.

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience in a technical sales role.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and managing multiple workstreams.
  • Previous experience in lead generation, sales, or cold-calling
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to offer sound feedback.
  • A proven track record in driving sales growth and maximising profitability.
  • Methodical and detail-oriented approach, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Knowledge of data analysis using Microsoft Packages and familiarity with CRM systems and social platforms.

  • Ability to develop relationships verbally and through video calls.
  • Excellent understanding of CRM systems and social platforms.
