Internal Sales Account Manager

I am assisting a long standing client based in Darlington as they require a Sales Account Manager to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.

As the chosen applicant, you'll join the internal sales team, handling sales orders, processing internal orders, organising daily logistics, and supporting customer inquiries via phone, contributing to the helpdesk function. Your responsibilities will also include engaging with both new and existing customers, offering details about the latest products, and optimising sales prospects.

You will also a good understanding of IT as you will use specialist sales and accounting software, along Microsoft Office.

Main job duties include but are not limited to:

• Administering daily sales orders and invoicing
• Maximising sales opportunities
• Upselling products to existing customers
• Processing internal sales orders
• Daily communication with customers via email and telephone
• Sales quotations via our internal software
• Arranging logistics of daily orders
• Providing basic administration assistance to the Sales and Marketing team

Working hours are 9.00am are 5.00pm and the role will be available immediately.
