Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a prestigious Central Watford based award winning Top 50 firm of accountants, establish almost 100 years' ago, that are now eager to appoint a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to take responsibility for the internal accounting operations of the firm.

Role Requirements -
Producing timely and reliable monthly management information reports for the partners and the board of management, investigating variances against budgets and providing analysis of differences.
Preparing annual budgets, half year and quarterly forecasts all with commentary on risks / opportunities.
Ensuring that all financial targets set by the firm are met.
Supporting the Finance Principal and working together with multiple Principals and teams, as necessary, across the firm in order to deliver solutions.
Support the partners to develop, document and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the firm.
Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the firm meets its financial and legal obligations.
Direct management of two members of the internal finance team.

Person Requirements -
ACA/ACCA qualified with experience preferably gained working for a prominent UK based accountancy practice.
Confident and highly capable in interpreting, analysing and presenting data in an accurate and commercial manner.
Ability to multi-task, to be a strategic thinker and an effective communicator.
Strong technical ability.
Significant managerial experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to liaise across multiple disciplines internally and externally to the firm.
Confident in driving change and leading from the front.
Expense management software experience.
