Internal Auditor - Remote role, with travel can be based anywhere in the UK - Exclusive & Retaine

Following another successful into the business, one of Europe’s leading agribusinesses is currently recruiting an Internal Auditor to join the team.

Reporting to the Group Head of Audit, and as part of a team of 5 people, this role can be based anywhere in the UK (your choice - as far north as Aberdeen, to Exeter, and anywhere in between!) and involves travel to around the UK&I, into Europe and possibly to Asia.

You will plan, deliver, manage and report on internal audits (financial, controls-based and operational) as part of delivering the annual audit plan, as assigned by the Group Head of Audit. By checking company accounts, financial controls systems and operational facilities, you will identify and analyse the risks to communicate findings with key external and internal parties, with the aim of mitigating or controlling the risks of the business in line with procedures, internal & legal policies and regulations. Where necessary, or as deemed appropriate by the Audit Committee, the team undertakes special investigations and forensics duties.

Due to the autonomy and senior level exposure of this business, the successful candidate will be lined up a role in the business with 2-3 years, normally in finance or the core operations in a part of the Group’s network. This could be internationally, if desired.

We are looking for a part/newly qualified audit/accountancy professional. If you are not qualified, the company will sponsor your professional development with financial and study support. You will need to be willing to travel and hold a driving licence.
