We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Internal Account Manager within the manufacturing industry near Bolton. The successful candidate will have a natural ability to build lasting relationships and a strong understanding of client management. The account manager will exclusively support with all relational duties within sales order processing, quotations, product service queries, negotiations, contract renewals & business development.

Client Details

The client we are currently working for is a manufacturer supplying & providing a wide range of services & products, from the initial consultation, design, then production. As a manufacturer, they operate on a national scale with several reputable mainstream clients across the country.

Description

Key responsibilities will consist of:

  • Manage and nurture client relationships for sustained business growth.
  • Implement strategies to retain and expand the customer base.
  • Contribute to any contractual negotiations and/or re-negotiations for defined customer portfolio and produce any related contractual documents as required.
  • Regularly review customer feedback to identify areas of improvement.
  • Uphold the company's brand image and values in all interactions.
  • Coordinate the delivery of agreed targets within the agreed budget to meet the wider requirements of the business for the defined customer portfolio.
  • Ensure contractually agreed service standards are provided to individual customers and, where necessary, liaise with the operations and other functional areas.
  • Understand and work within the policy standards of individual customers to ensure service provisions/requirements are fulfilled.
  • Maintain an up-to-date sales/technical knowledge of the product portfolio.
  • Project a professional impression of the company and act in accordance with the relevant industry code of practice.
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure the delivery of adequate customer service.

Profile

A successful 'Internal Account Manager' should have:

  • Relevant experience in similar field or industry.
  • Proven account management or CRM experience.
  • Proven ability to communicate and demonstrate pitching ability.
  • Sales motivated & driven attitude.
  • Target orientated & strong organisational skills.
  • Demonstrable track record & performance related indicators in sales.
  • A customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in using database software.
  • Ability to work well in fast-paced high-volume environment.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
