Protiviti are working with a number of regulated utilities and technology firms across a range of audit requirements. We are looking to bolster our teams with specific experience around asset inspection maintenance and similar utilities hardware audits.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Auditor with expertise in conducting inspections, maintenance checks, and audits of utilities hardware and related systems. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for identifying discrepancies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing corrective measures as needed. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections, maintenance checks, and audits of utilities hardware and equipment in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Evaluate the condition and performance of hardware components, identifying any defects, malfunctions, or areas for improvement.
  • Review maintenance records, inspection reports, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues identified during audits and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide recommendations for optimising maintenance schedules, improving operational efficiency, and reducing downtime.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, observations, and recommendations for management review

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working as an Auditor, Inspector, or similar role, with a focus on utilities hardware inspections and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of inspection methodologies, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience conducting audits and inspections of utilities hardware, such as power plants, pipelines, substations, or similar infrastructure.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
