The Company
Our client is a leading construction group that has undergone significant investment and is currently undertaking an exciting transformation programme. They are looking to appoint a high calibre and experienced interim Quantity Surveyor to assist through a period of tremendous, change, opportunity and growth.

The Role
You will conduct cost estimates and prepare budgets for construction projects, analysing and evaluating project specifications ensuring robust cash flow projections.

You will assess and manage project risks related to costs to assess progress and identify potential cost variations.

Collaborating with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure cost efficiency and adherence to project timelines you will work closely with the Managing Director to evaluate and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.

The Person
With proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry, you will ideally hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management. You will hold comprehensive knowledge of cost control principles and your ability to collaborate and manage projects and stakeholders will be a given. This is a great opportunity for an experienced QS to join this construction group as they embark on an exciting journey.
