Description

The Interim Privacy Counsel will be responsible for all areas of contractual and BAU privacy.

  • Provide strategic privacy advice and guidance to the organisation.
  • draft, review and negotiate privacy clauses within contracts.
  • Lead on all DPIAs.
  • Advise business areas with a particular focus on marketing & adtech on Privacy.
  • Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
  • Manage legal risks and safeguard the organisation's reputation.
  • Support the DSAR process.
  • Advise on GDPR.

Profile

A successful Interim Privacy Counsel should :

  • be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
  • experience and expert knowledge of Data Protection & GDPR.
  • advised businesses on consumer data matters.
  • an understanding of the data protection implications for marketing and adtech.
  • A solution-oriented approach and ability to handle complex legal issues.
  • Proficiency in legal research and risk management.
