Interim Payroll Administrator | Global TV Production Business|London

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a world-renowned, global TV Production business based in Central London to recruit a Payroll Administrator for 3 months.

The Business

Our client is one of the world's biggest production companies, distributing programmes that reach screens across over 30 countries. Each year, they produce over 10,000 hours of entertaining, star-studded content. They are continuing to grow year upon year, taking on more of your favourite shows into their catalogue of content. This is an incredible opportunity to join the business behind your favourite entertainment programming.

Based in a very central area of London, our client is looking for someone to join their team immediately. Their culture prioritizes equality and inclusion, ensuring the workplace is a comfortable environment for all.

This is a hybrid role, with 4 days expected in the office for the first two weeks.

The Role:

Supporting a talented Payroll Manager and the greater HR Department, this Payroll Administrator will be able to hit the ground running and work within a dynamic, fast-paced team. Day to day, this role encompasses managing the weekly payroll process for ongoing productions, ensuring compliance with IR35, liaising with production teams to support payroll and timesheet data, and answering queries from the wider business.

The client is undergoing a systems change to ResourceLink, so you'll be integral in supporting the team as they take on this new system-the ideal candidate will have experience using the system and are keen to support as they transition to this new interface. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience running weekly payrolls/processing payroll for freelancers, be a strong communicator, keen to hit the ground running and get stuck-in.

Duties:

  • Liaise with production finance teams to prepare weekly payroll
  • Create payment sheets and reports
  • Process freelancer invoices and staff payments
  • Manage end-to-end payroll verification and transaction processes for weekly payrolls
  • Ensure compliance with IR35
  • Keep system up to date with invoice information and data
  • Ad hoc tasks to support the Payroll Manager

What we need to see (essential):

  • AP/Payroll experience
  • Experience working with freelancers
  • A passion for the Film and TV Industries

What we'd like to see (bonus):

  • Previous experience in the Media/TV/Film/Entertainment industry
  • Previous experience using ResourceLink


Day Rate: £150-£190

Location: Central London (Hybrid)

Ideal Start: ASAP

Contract length: 3 months (potential for extension)
