Protiviti - the Global Management Consulting firm, are currently seeking a dynamic Outsourcing and Supplier Relationship Management SME to oversee our Major Insurance Client's complex outsourcing initiatives and drive organisational change.

As the Outsourcing & Supplier Relationship Management Lead, you will play a crucial role in optimising our major Insurance Client's outsourcing strategies and fostering strong relationships with their key suppliers. You will be responsible for managing outsourcing initiatives, ensuring service delivery excellence, and driving continuous improvement in supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement outsourcing strategies aligned with business objectives to optimise operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select potential suppliers/vendors based on predefined criteria and requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing structures with suppliers to ensure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration, transparency, and mutual trust.
  • Monitor supplier performance against SLAs and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Lead regular performance reviews and strategic meetings with suppliers to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Manage vendor risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and compliance with outsourcing policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in outsourcing and supplier management.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in outsourcing and supplier relationship management within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of outsourcing principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, SLAs, and pricing agreements with suppliers/vendors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
