Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property surveys, diagnosing complex faults and failures. Develop detailed specifications and oversee contractor's execution of works, ensuring quality, value, and adherence to contract terms.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by effectively consulting with customers and keeping them informed.
  • Ensure services are provided safely, complying with health and safety legislation and organisational policies.
  • Utilise and update organisational systems including Asset Management, Management Information, Customer Relationship Management, and Housing systems.
  • Provide regular progress reports and updates on allocated work and future preparations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues such as surveyors, customer liaison officers, and customer contact teams to optimise operational efficiency and enhance service delivery.
  • Contribute to budget and program management, ensuring adherence to contractual pricing agreements and promptly addressing any cost variances.

Profile

The successful candidate:

  • Profound expertise in building construction, standards, and legislation, enabling the diagnosis and specification of remedies for building defects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of responsive repairs, voids works, and planned and cyclical repair requirements.
  • Proactive approach and self-initiative, capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Ability to effectively oversee contractors in delivering building works at the project level, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, quality, value, and progress, demonstrating exceptional organisational skills.
  • Exceptional standards of customer care, coupled with the ability to deliver precise and clear communications in written form, face-to-face interactions, or over the telephone.

Job Offer

  • £250 to £350 daily rate with weekly pay
