About the Role

As the interim HR Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a positive and productive work environment by addressing employee relations issues such as conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters with fairness and consistency. Additionally, you'll be instrumental in shaping the workforce through advising on talent acquisition strategies, recruitment processes, and onboarding procedures to attract and retain top talent that aligns with organisational goals and values.

Your expertise in HR will extend to optimising individual and team performance through performance evaluation systems, goal-setting processes, and performance improvement plans tailored to meet organisational objectives. Furthermore, you'll champion employee development by recommending learning initiatives, training programs, and career advancement opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge within the firm.

Moreover, you'll lead efforts in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion across all facets of the operations through DEI strategies and policies. Ensuring competitive and equitable compensation practices and providing expert guidance on employment laws and compliance requirements will round out your responsibilities, safeguarding the firm's HR practices while mitigating potential risks and liabilities.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum two years of HR experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a professional services or finance environment is preferred
  • Demonstrable track record in HR project planning and delivery
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and contracts
  • CIPD qualified to level 7 (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Commercial mindset with a proactive approach
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
