Harmonic Finance are delighted to be working exclusively with a hyper-growth Advertising business to their support their search for an Interim Head of AP & AR for a period of 6 months, with potential for permanent employment thereafter.

The Client

This SME advertising agency has experienced a fantastic growth trajectory over the last several years, creating 30%+ profit year on year. Paving the way in personalised branding with predictive analytics, our client champions innovation and collaboration amongst its teams as they work towards their B-Corp certification. Offering flexible working with offices in London and Leeds, they are excited to welcome a values-led contractor who wants to add real value to their growing team.

The Role

This is an initial contract position running for 6 months, but in the future, there will be the potential to go permanent. You shall be responsible for reviewing the current AP, AR, and Treasury functions and driving efficiencies across the finance team, with a focus on reducing month end procedures. You shall work alongside the Finance Controller to develop strategies for commercial financial growth and mentor the current Finance Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing AP and AR processes
• Implementing efficiencies within Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger systems
• Develop AP and AR dashboard of KPIs
• Collaborating with Financial Controller to manage strategies within transactional finance
• Reviewing Finance Assistant activities, including processing invoices, payrolls, and chasing aged debts

What we need to see (essential):

• 5+ years of managing AP and AR teams
• Background in Creative Industries
• Strong data management and excel skills
• Fantastic communication skills

What we need to see (bonus):

• SAP Proficiency
• AAT Qualified or equivalent

Salary: £400-£550 Day Rate

Location: London (Hybrid)

Start Date: ASAP
