Interim Group Accountant - Marketing Services

£400-450pd Inside IR35

Central London Based (Hybrid)

Talentedge are working with a multinational Marcomms agency to support their search for an Interim Group Accountant to join their team during and exceptionally busy period of the year. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining financial integrity and supporting the group's accounting functions during a period of transition, making it and ideal opportunity for anyone who is immediately available and looking to join a high calibre team within a highly reputable business. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Manage month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements for multiple entities within the group.
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and related reporting packages across multiple jurisdictions and currencies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring and maintaining SOX compliance 
  • Support external audit processes and liaise with auditors as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

  • ACA qualification ideally from an audit background
  • Proven experience as a Group Accountant or similar role within the marketing services industry.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS reporting & SOX compliance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
