Interim Financial Reporting Manager

Fin Search are recruiting a Financial Reporting Manager on an interim basis, initially for 6 months, for a highly acquisitive services business based in Harrogate.

The business is operating a hybrid working model - 2 days in the office and 3 days at home.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant looking for an autonomous role in a fast paced business.

As Financial Reporting Manager, this role will report in to an ACA qualified Finance Director, responsible for the management of the production of the annual report and accounts.

Duties will include, however are not limited to, ownership and production of the group consolidation, production of subsidiary accounts, coordination of the group audit, IFRS16 related balances, maintaining accounting policies and procedures and making amendments where required and managing relationships with third parties to include auditors and tax advisors.

The successful candidate will:

• Be ACA/ACCA qualified
• Have a strong technical accounting background
• Have excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Have advanced Excel skills
