Are you a technically gifted part qualified accountant looking for a rewarding role in a large organisation? Are you adept at the fundamentals of bookkeeping, looking to apply and hone your skills in a forward thinking team? Are you confident in your Excel skills?

My client is a large Housing and Property company in London, currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Accountant on a 12 month contract.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reconciling joint venture accounts, consolidating management accounts at month end
  • Performing routine checks and balances and reconciling ledgers
  • Supporting on adapting financial information to suit the new finance system being implemented
  • Assisting in drafting financial statements
  • Supporting external auditors with queries.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their core accounting skills in a highly regarded organisation. The successful applicant will report to a Finance Manager who is focused on personal development. If you’re looking at taking your Excel skills to the next level, this would be a great role for you!

The team meets in the office in London once to twice per week and flexible working hours are offers.

To be considered, please meet these criteria:

  • Be a part qualified accountant, ideally who is actively progressing with their studies
  • Have confidence in your basic accounting skillset such as reconciliations, audit support, month end tasks
  • Ideal experience would involve working in an accountancy practice, or the Construction/Real Estate world.
