Interim Financial Accountant - 6 month Fixed Term Contract - Housing Association - London - Hybrid Working

Client Details

A London-based Housing Association are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team for 6 months.

Description

• Oversee and manage all financial and accounting operations
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Liaise with senior management to improve financial procedures

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant must:

• Be fully qualified
• Have a Social Housing background
• Be able to do balance sheet reconciliations
• Have strong year end experience
• Pick systems up quickly (SUN ideally)
