Interim Financial Accountant| Globally Renowned Media Company | 3 Month Contract

Harmonic is delighted to be working with one of the most world-renowned organisations within the Media & Entertainment industry, on an Interim Financial Accountant 3 month contract, with the high likelihood of extension.

The Company:

Our client has a global reputation for being at the forefront of their niche within the Media & Entertainment industry. They operate a modern and flexible hybrid working policy, with two days in the office and 3 working from home. Despite their size, they've managed to retain a welcoming and sociable work environment.

The Role:

They are looking for an Interim Financial Accountant to own the statutory accounting for their multiple entities. As the Interim Financial Accountant you will be responsible for owning the annual statutory accounts and reporting packs for the UK entities. Working closely with the Financial Controller and Assistant Accountant, you will provide oversight for the smooth running of the finance function and intercompany reporting processes.

An initial 3 month contract, there is high potential if all goes well for the contract to become rolling and further extended. If you are a technically strong accountant looking to work in a dynamic, non-corporate working environment, this is a fantastic opportunity.

The Duties:

• Working closely on preparing the statutory accounts for the UK entities
• Ownership on the intercompany group reporting processes
• Supporting the Financial Controller with overall management of the finance function
• Oversee work from the wider finance team for review
• Acting as a primary point of contact for the audit process
• Ad-hoc project work to improve processes and drive efficiencies

What we need to see (essential):

• Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Strong technical accounting background
• Experience with multi-entity organisations

What we would like to see (bonus):

• Background within audit/accounting practice

Day Rate: £300-£400 (Inside IR35)

Start Date: Immediate/ASAP

Length of Contract: 3 months (likelihood to extend)
