Interim Finance Manager

My client, a private equity backed precision engineering business requires an Interim Finance Manager for a 6 month period. Working for one of 4 divisions across 9 sites this is a mature business with a consistent client base. The role reports to the CFO and is one of 4 Finance Managers working across the business.

Specifically the role will focus on month-end, operational finance and business partnering.

Duties include:

  • Management reporting, forecasting and budgeting
  • Margin management, inventory management, cost controls
  • Ledger reconciliations
  • Invoice discounting, cash flow forecasting and daily cash control
  • Credit control and cash management
  • VAT, EC Sales Lists, Intrastat
  • Inter-company charging, payments and reconciliations

The successful candidate will be either a qualified accountant or QBE with a strong track record in financial management. You will also have good business partnering skills and have experience of working with cross functional teams. Knowledge of Sage 200 is also useful.

This role is offered on a fixed term contract basis with hybrid working, either 4/1 or 3/2
