~~ INTERIM FINANCE LEAD - WEST MIDLANDS - £700 - £800 PER DAY ~~

My client, a market leading organisation, is recruiting an Interim Finance Lead. This role will form part of the finance team to provide valuable and flexible support in a fast paced, dynamic environment. You will provide an effective financial support and control environment to the organisation, and accurate and timely accounting and reporting service to the operational businesses.

Key Responsibilities Of Interim Finance Lead:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including contracting accounting, posting all accruals / prepayments, intercompany reconciliations and postings in line with month end deadlines
  • Working with the procurement manager to ensure the purchase book is accurate and up to date
  • Working closely with the operational team to ensure accuracy & timeliness of the month end accounts
  • Working closely with the commercial team to ensure accuracy & timeliness
  • Variance analysis against budget and forecasts as well as explanation
  • Supporting the rolling forecasting and annual budgeting process
  • Support the preparation of BU monthly reporting packs end to end, along with presenting results to BU Financial Controller and FD/MD
  • Support the business development team in developing business cases for potential future projects
  • Weekly reporting requirements to internal and external stakeholders
  • Own the balance sheet reconciliation & reporting process
  • Support the annual audit and tax process with timely and accurate information
