Interim Divisional Finance Director

Location: Central London with a flexible WFH policy

Duration: 6 months (Potential temp-to-perm)

Salary: Up to £200k depending on experience

Consumer Additions has partnered exclusively with a global leading multisite hospitality business to recruit an interim Finance Director for 6-months to cover whilst they recruit permanently. Naturally, if interested, the interim could be considered for the permanent opportunity.

The role will ensure that the business unit operates with financial coherence and that the senior leaders and stakeholders have a transparent view of how the business unit is performing and clarity on the financial impact of their strategic, operational and trading decisions.

The role will provide both partnership and challenge to the business and leadership in order to maximise the performance of the division.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Divisional GM to set the financial guard rails, develop strategies to grow the business and drive performance.
• Bring alignment of financial management across all elements of the business unit, rationalising reporting and bringing focus to key financial KPIs across P&L, balance sheet and overall working capital.
• Lead a team to deliver analysis, insight and recommendations on the financial implications of business decisions, ensuring business performance reporting is delivering actionable insight in a timely and efficient way.
• Challenge the business unit to deliver financial goals aligned with group operating and financial strategy through strategic business partnering, driving growth in top-line revenue and efficiencies in the cost base and working capital.
• Delivery of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the division, translating the vision of the business into a long-term financial strategy and supporting the development of the strategy to drive the business.
• Lead, engage and motivate a team, to deliver effective business partnering and stakeholder engagement ensuring performance is at a high level and our company values are reflected in how they perform their role.

Requirements:

• A qualified accountant with experience in a multisite environment.
• An authentic and empathetic people leader.
• Proven senior experience in P&L ownership and financial planning.
• Strong commercial acumen, with an ability to influence strategic business decisions, keeping the financial health of the business front of mind.
• You can self-motivate in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong team player with the ability to interact and effectively communicate with those outside of Finance teams to deliver preferred outcomes.
• A thought leader, able to inspire thinking.
