A growing SME in Bristol are currently seeking an experienced Interim Finance Director to support our CFO with outstanding projects, with a primary focus on the implementation of NetSuite, our new ERP system. The successful candidate will bring strong financial management expertise, project management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

System Implementation:

• Lead the implementation of NetSuite, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design workflows, and configure the system to meet business needs.
• Manage the testing phase, identify issues, and coordinate resolutions to ensure a smooth transition.
• Provide training and support to end-users, fostering adoption and ensuring system proficiency.

Financial Management:

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Strategic Support:

• Assist the CFO in developing and implementing financial strategies to drive growth and profitability.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to optimise operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement best practices and standard operating procedures across finance functions.
