Excellent opportunity to join a Local Authority in Essex as the Interim Estates and Asset Manager on a six-month fixed term contract. You will be joining a reputable Estates Management Service and will lead the team delivering effective estates management for the council's non-housing stock. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a small, successful team managing the council's directly occupied stock as well as third party occupied property.

Your new role
As the Interim Estates and Asset Manager, you will provide estate management service for the council's commercial stock. This will include line managing the estates team and implementing the council's asset management strategy. You will be involved with lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, lease compliance, valuations and maintenance.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role you should be MRICS or similar and be competent providing estate management services. Experience gained within the public sector is preferable and you should have team management skills. A driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is required for this role.
