The Interim Disrepair Surveyor role is a crucial part of our Property Department, tasked with conducting surveys, diagnosing defects, and producing detailed reports within the not for profit and charities sector. The successful candidate will contribute towards providing a high-quality service to our customers, ensuring properties are maintained to an excellent standard.

Description

  • Conduct detailed property surveys to assess condition and disrepair.
  • Diagnose defects and identify necessary repairs.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations.
  • Liaise effectively with contractors to facilitate repairs.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, in line with company guidelines.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Property Department's procedures and processes.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders.

Profile

A successful Interim Disrepair Surveyor should have:

  • An appropriate qualification in Building Surveying or a related field.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing defects and identifying repairs.
  • Understanding of Section 11 and 82
  • Understand Damp and Mould issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in the public sector.
  • The ability to produce detailed and accurate reports.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • A collaborative approach to working in a team.
