Interim Chief Accountant

Interim Chief Accountant - International B2B SaaS Business 

3+ Months Contract (Remote/hybrid working, outside IR35)

We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the leading software businesses within the Ad-tech arena. This PE backed company excels in helping their customers show their most important information to the right people at the right time.   

What you’ll be doing:

As Chief Accountant, you’ll be supporting the existing Financial Controller whilst the company prepares for their next stage of growth. Some of the main responsibilities will include:

• Assist with new NetSuite GL project (external consultants running the project but needs internal oversight)
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations (preparation and also establish process for ongoing compliance)
• Invoice & billing process overhaul (help work with sales and customer support teams to agree improved process)
• Process improvements to payments & subscriptions (review current set-up and help productivity improvements)
• Review credit control process - implement automation/improvements as agreed 

The successful candidate will be used to operating within a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and be able to improve systems and processes where necessary. 

Are you a fully qualified Accountant with previous experience of improving systems and processes within a short timeframe? Are you a proven Interim Specialist with excellent ‘all round’ accounts knowledge / experience? If so, please read on… 

What we need you to bring to the business:

• Previous experience working within fast paced, international environments
• Strong ‘all round’ accounts experience - (a proven FC / Head of Finance)
• Hands on approach / mentality - able to assist with balance sheet reconciliations and various operational tasks
• Project management experience
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with people at all levels both internally and externally
• Experience with NetSuite will be advantageous
