Interim CFO | PE-Backed Management Consulting Firm | 6 month Contract

Harmonic are delighted to have been engaged exclusively by a PE-Backed Management Consulting firm, for a 3-6 month period with the potential of transferring to permanent employment

The Client

Our client recorded turnover exceeding £165 million as of last year and has carved out a niche within their subsector, whereby they have become entrenched as a market leader. Working closely with a CEO and C-Suite that is renowned for their expertise in scaling organisations, this is a fantastic role to have a significant impact on their trajectory.

They operate a culture which is renowned for its high-performance, openness and inclusivity. The office is based in Central London and they operate a hybrid policy, expecting 3 days in the office and 2 from home. Whilst an initial 3-6 month period, there is the potential to become permanent should the Interim candidate be successful in their position during the interim period.

The Role

The finance team consists of 6 people, so ensuring the smooth management and efficiency within the finance function is critical. This is a broad position which includes elements of business partnering with the CEO and working closely on the commercial and financial strategy of the organisation. In terms of strategic ambitions, our client is interested in exploring M&A opportunities and other avenues to continue their growth story.

Duties

• Partner with the CEO and other members of the Senior Leadership Team to contribute to the 5-year business plan.
• Owning the financial strategy of the business and contributing to the commercial strategy.
• Owning the FP&A function and delivering insightful Management Information.
• Effectively managing and developing a finance team of 6 people.
• Ensuring there is a robust controls environment.
• Oversight over all financial governance.
• Exploring new strategic initiatives.
• Managing a smooth audit process.
• Ad-hoc projects to support the CEO

Essential Experience

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience within professional services or consultancy industry
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Day Rate: £800-£1100 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: Central London (Hybrid)
