Marks Sattin has partnered with a well established Property Group who are in search of an interim accountant on a 12 Month assignment (with a perm role offering).

**Position:** Senior Financial Accountant
**Salary:** £50-55k
**Start Date:** 13th - 29th May

**Role Overview:**

Join a dynamic financial reporting team supporting key processes including half-yearly results, quarterly joint venture reporting, statutory accounts, and corporation tax returns. This role offers a unique opportunity for growth and development within a renowned real estate company.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist the reporting team in project managing and preparing annual financial statements for approximately 70-80 statutory accounts.

- Support with SOX compliance

- Leading the balance sheet reconcilliation

- Supporting with production of management accounts alongside the wider finance team

- Conduct quarterly analytical reviews of actual performance versus budget/forecast.

- Undertake financial analysis to evaluate the financial strength of new and existing customers.

- Participate in ad hoc tasks and projects as needed throughout the year.

**Candidate Profile:**

- Qualified accountant CA/ACA (or equivalent) and experience in Top 4 Audit Firm environment (required)*

- Experience or Interest in working with a Group Finance function.

- Confident communicator with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.

- Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads and financial deadlines.
