Pyramid8 is working in partnership with a Yorkshire based charity, that works with a variety of individuals in the local area that assists homeless adults with accommodation and support. As the portfolio of housing expands, we are looking for an Intensive Support Worker to join the team.

The role will involve working with individuals in their own homes supporting with any needs they may have.

As expected, you will have a genuine passion for helping others, with a supportive nature. It’s essential that you have previously worked with vulnerable adults. You will be able to work on your own initiative and respond to situations appropriately.

Role

  • Visit all properties at least every 2 weeks, checking for repair needs and testing all Health and Safety equipment.
  • Offering support to clients, from a friendly chat to helping filling in forms, support on where to gain additional help
  • You will be the main link between any issues with the clients and support workers.
  • Reporting any concerns with individuals and seeking additional help where needed

They are looking for an individual who genuinely wants to work with vulnerable adults to help them seek a better life. Youi will be friendly and approachable, Empathetic, Sympathetic and have a positive attitude as well as being professional at all times.
