Insulation Technician / Technical Advisor

Insulation Technician / Technical Advisor with previous experience providing technical advice on insulation products or similar work within the insulation industry, or good knowledge and understanding of construction methods, excellent interpersonal and communications skills is required for a home-based role for a well-established industrial manufacturing company.

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Insulation Technician / Technical Advisor with previous experience providing technical advice on insulation products or similar work within the insulation industry, or good knowledge and understanding of construction methods, excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

Working as an Insulation Technician / Technical Advisor you will be working primarily in a small, tight knit UK sales team providing support to those sales colleagues as they strive to deliver a comprehensive service to customers in distribution, house builders, specifiers, installers and construction industries providing technical expertise to ensure the right product is sold for the application necessary.

As an Insulation Technician / Technical Advisor you will join a newly created UK insulation division working primarily with a well-respected brand with a strong presence in the market across Europe with 11 manufacturing sites, creating quality focused products in glass wool insulation and XPS insulation.

DUTIES

Your duties as an Insulation Technician / Technical Advisor will include:

• Support the companies UK customer base with technical expertise

• Deliver training to customers and end-users on product attributes and provide U-value calculations

• Respond to technical queries, resolving issues and complaints

• Provide support to sales colleagues to deliver a comprehensive service

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a similar role in the insulation industry is desirable, However, consideration will be given to candidates who have full knowledge and understanding of construction methods in both domestic and commercial sectors

• Significant technical knowledge in insulation products

• Relevant qualification is desirable and a strong desire to learn about the company’s fascinating products and their applications

• A high level of interpersonal and communication skills to build long lasting relationships with customers and colleagues alike
