Your tasks as an Instrumentation & Control Engineer:

  • Responsible for all I&C related activities in a project in all project phases (development, establishment, and realisation)
  • Coordination of all I&C related engineering activities.
  • Responsible for I&C interfaces and interfaces to other disciplines.
  • Coordination of preparation of I&C related engineering deliverables (single line,…).
  • Technical coordination for the preparation of technical solutions in connection with I&C, power plant-specific tasks such as Distributed Control System, Automation, Communication and Security Systems
  • Specification of I&C components according to international regulations and standards as well as internal Employers standards.
  • Contribution to preparation/review of other key documents.
  • Support of procurement process with preparation of ITT parts and evaluation of bids and participation in negotiations.
  • Responsible for the contract related review of I&C engineering documents.
  • Managing of internal and external stakeholders.
  • responsible for the adjustment of applicable quality standards to the specific project.
  • support quality, site management, commissioning, HSSE, cost estimation, scheduling, and HSSE-in Design with I&C expertise.

In this role, you report to the Engineering Manager within a project and to the Line Manager Discipline Engineering.

YOUR PROFILE
Our ideal candidate has a relevant University degree in Automation Technology, alternatively electrical engineering.
You can speak and write in English.
Your personal characteristics and competences:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of Engineering, Procurement and Construction of industrial plants (preferably heat and power generation)
  • Your professional skills include a sound knowledge of I&C engineering and realisation of power and heat generation plants and/or process engineering plants.
  • Sound knowledge of Distributed Control Systems, Process control technology, security and communication systems, video surveillance system , fire alarm system, access control, intrusion detection system, radio clock, weather station, lift emergency call, alarm tracking system , electroacoustic systems/voice alarm system), IT infrastructure, telecommunications, active network technology and WIFI.

Your personal competencies include leadership qualities and analytical skills. You are able to create a structured way of working for yourself and your team. You are self-propelling. You have a good focus on health and safety and safety in design.
