Promoting the UCC brand by working professionally and efficiently as part of a team or individually, installing, programming, removing and relocating hot beverage equipment, including on-site customer machine training & planned maintenance for a broad range of clients ranging from high street independents to national brands and organisations.

The Role:

  • Install/Remove coffee machine equipment, carry out preventative maintenance service contracts and deliver customer training in line with company guidelines
  • Act as Company Coffee Ambassador at all times, ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered, adhering to Health and Safety procedures, undertaking customer machine quality audits and risk assessments to ensure that it is safe to work and bring any risks to the attention of the company management
  • Demonstrate confidence in how to use and maintain a broad range of coffee machines, with an ability to identify and repair basic technical fault fixes to avoid unnecessary service calls, keeping the customer’s equipment operational
  • Work proactively with the central call centre, by taking day to day instructions, keeping them updated, so waiting customers are kept informed.
  • Work in partnership with Sales and Operations to ensure new and replacement equipment installations are to plan, with detailed training delivered, leaving the customer with confidence in how to maintain their coffee quality and equipment
  • Report business development opportunities within existing customer locations and potential new opportunities, identifying opportunities to add value to equipment, products or services supplied within our existing customer base
  • Complete all necessary on-line job sheets, time sheets and other documentation as required, ensuring any paper work is available and has been reviewed and understood before setting off to site.
  • Complete all necessary pre/post-installation checks, liaising with the client, other trades and third parties as indicated on work instructions to demonstrate a high level of customer care.
  • Keep in good working order all tools, equipment and vehicles supplied by the company, reporting any faults, breakages or equipment failures to your line manager daily.
  • Provide agreed spare parts stocks via hand held unit to ensure that parts are invoiced to the customer, deducted from stock and replenished to maintain your vehicle stock inventory.

The Person:

  • Self-motivated individual with a passion for coffee and customer service
  • Confident and inspiring individual with clear communication skills & the ability to prioritise own diary and workload
  • Excellent understanding of coffee quality and associated equipment
  • Demonstrates strong problem solving skills with an electrical mechanical background
  • Computer literate with a clean driving licence
  • Enthusiastic and flexible approach to work, location and hours (Mainly Glasgow/Edinburgh area - although Scotland wide travel may be required)

Salary: £26k + Company Vehicle + 25 days holiday + Pension + EAP + Life Assurance + other Company benefits
