Workshop Inspector

Join our esteemed team as a Workshop Inspector within our workshop facility, specialising in the manufacturing and repair of rotating equipment for the oil & gas sector. We pride ourselves on delivering top-tier quality and precision, making us a leader in our industry.

Key Responsibilities & Duties of Inspector:

  • Conduct meticulous in-process and final inspections on our in-house manufactured components and precision parts, ensuring adherence to dimensional accuracy and specifications.
  • Oversee the inspection of sub-contracted parts to maintain our uncompromising quality standards across the supply chain.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in understanding and interpreting complex engineering drawings to guarantee flawless execution.
  • Implement rigorous goods inward inspection procedures, verifying the quality of incoming castings.
  • Foster effective communication with our Engineering and Quality Assurance teams, addressing any non-conformances identified during inspections.
  • Display versatility in working with both imperial and metric units to accommodate diverse project requirements.
  • While familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is advantageous, it is not essential!
  • Provide flexible support to the inspection department as required to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Uphold our commitment to excellence by promptly reporting non-conformances and maintaining the calibration of measurement equipment.
