This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic professional to join a market leading company in Newcastle. In this role, you will plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales to ensure efficient sales operations and exceptional customer service. This position involves creating new sales opportunities, coordinating sales activities, managing orders, and maintaining strong communication with both customers and internal stakeholders.

Job responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the sales order pipeline, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Managing and Coaching sales assistant to optimize sales.
  • Collaborate with current and new customer up sell and cross selling of products and services.
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, shipment updates, and any potential delays.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to prepare quotes, proposals, and presentations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports, metrics, and analyses for management.
  • Assist in sales events, meetings, and presentations.
  • Contribute to business performance and efficiencies to improve sales and customer experience.
  • Continuously work to improve and streamline internal sales processes for greater efficiency.
  • Work closely with internal departments (logistics, inventory, finance, quality) to ensure smooth order processing.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in a sales role.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. D365 would be advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Effective communication to keep both customers and internal teams informed.
  • Customer-focused attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage orders and information.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrates leadership and ability to influence at all levels within business.
  • A Proactive attitude and open mindedness attitude to change and challenge.
