Sales & Marketing Executive
 
Based in Hatfield – Hybrid/Fully Remote
 
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience +bonus paid twice yearly

We are seeking a dynamic Inside Sales and Marketing Executive for our client based in Hatfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales and marketing activities for the product portfolio. This role involves generating sales leads through various channels, including B2B website lead generators and software systems and qualifying leads to drive revenue growth. The Inside Sales and Marketing Executive will collaborate with the Divisional Internal Sales team to identify cross-selling opportunities within the product portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a curious mind, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to penetrate gatekeepers to secure appointments.
This is a new role and is there is the opportunity to bring your own innovative approach and flair. This is a hybrid or even fully remote depending on the candidate and you would need a full driving licence as there would be a requirement to visit prospective customers and attend Events.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote the company's product portfolio.
  • Utilise B2B website lead generators and software systems to generate sales leads.
  • Qualify leads to ensure alignment with company's target market and product offerings.
  • Collaborate with Divisional Internal Sales team to identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities.
  • Conduct research to identify new sales and marketing opportunities.
  • Employ intelligent sales techniques to maximise sales effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate a creative flair and innovation in sales and marketing approaches.
  • Provide and manage a structured approach and maintain organised records of sales leads and activities.
  • Successfully navigate past gatekeepers to secure appointments with key decision-makers.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating events and marketing initiatives.
  • Utilise social media channels to enhance sales and marketing efforts and promote brand awareness.
Requirements:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Curious mindset with a passion for learning and problem-solving.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovate in sales and marketing approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in using B2B website lead generators and software systems preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to penetrate gatekeepers and secure appointments.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and the role they play in sales and marketing of products.
  • Results orientated mindset with a focus on maximising sales opportunities.
  • Experience within electrical equipment or related industry would be advantageous
