Inorganic Specialist Chemist/Principal Analyst
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Inorganic Chemist to join a world-leading environmental testing company.
In this role, you will support the research and development of a variety of inorganic analytical techniques as required by the client and business. You will utilise a variety of instruments such as ICP-MS, ICP-OES & IC in a high-throughput, ISO17025 accredited environment. You will provide advanced expertise in analytical chemistry and assist in investigation, review and presentations of resource development.
Aside from this you will assist in maintenance programs for the department’s specific instruments, adhere to relevant QMS protocols and overall support the development and implementation of business improvement ideas.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An in depth understanding of inorganic analytical instruments such as ICP, wet chemistry techniques, Automated calorimetric and IC methodologies
- Experience working within a high-throughput environmental testing facility
- Fully conversant with ISO17025 accreditation
